Change Your Cardinal Password
Have all of your devices nearby before changing your password. After the change, update the saved password on Wi-Fi, mail apps, browsers, phones, tablets, and computers.

Duo two-factor authentication helps protect student information and is required when signing in to Cardinal Students and other protected University services.

Google 2-Step Verification is required for Cardinal Mail and the University Google Workspace account.
Use CUA-Secure for student devices. A wired connection is often the best choice in a residence hall for gaming, large downloads, streaming, and video calls.
Connect using your Cardinal username and password. CUA-Guest is intended for visitors and provides more limited access.
If your device keeps joining CUA-Guest, forget that network and then join CUA-Secure.
Network cables and adapters may be available through your Residence Hall Office.
Devices without a normal web browser may need registration before they can connect in a residence hall.
This includes smart televisions, game consoles, streaming devices, and smart speakers. You will need the wired or wireless MAC address.
Wi-Fi Calling can help in campus buildings where Wi-Fi is available but cellular coverage is limited.

Shared printers are available in many computer labs, classrooms, and common areas. Students can print from supported University computers and personally owned computers.
Full-time students receive a Microsoft 365 account. Go to Office.com and sign in with your full CUA email address.
When prompted for the account type, select Provided by work or school. You can then use the web apps or install the desktop software available to your account.
Use the Catholic-STU VPN profile when you need secure remote access to eligible campus resources from off campus.
The VPN uses Duo. Connect to vpn.cua.edu and select Catholic-STU.
Use the Technology Support portal to search self-help articles, submit a request, or check the status of an existing ticket.
